The Rawlings Heart of the Hide PROR2175-2M 11.75" Baseball Glove combines premium Heart of the Hide leather with Rawlings' R2G construction to give serious infielders a professional-quality glove with a much shorter break-in period.
Built around the Rawlings 217 infield pattern, this 11.75 inch glove provides an excellent combination of reach, pocket depth and control. The slightly longer pattern is particularly well suited to shortstop and third base, where the extra reach can make a difference on backhands and hard-hit ground balls.
The Pro I Web is a classic choice for infielders, creating a controlled pocket while allowing quick access to the baseball for fast transfers and throws across the diamond.
Constructed from top-grade U.S. steerhide, the PROR2175-2M has the premium feel, durability and shape retention that has made Rawlings Heart of the Hide one of the most popular glove ranges in baseball.
This model features Rawlings R2G construction, which adds additional factory break-in compared with a traditional Heart of the Hide glove. A redesigned, thinner heel pad also makes the glove easier to close. With only around 35% player break-in required, players can get this glove game-ready considerably faster than a traditional Heart of the Hide.
Inside the glove, a shell palm leather lining provides a comfortable feel, while the thermoformed wrist liner helps provide a secure fit and manages moisture during play. Pro-grade leather laces complete the premium construction.
