The Rawlings Pro Preferred Kris Bryant 12.25" Utility Baseball Glove is a premium player model designed for players who need the versatility to perform across multiple positions.
Based on the glove pattern used by Kris Bryant, the 12.25 inch design provides an excellent combination of reach, pocket depth and control. Its larger size makes it particularly well suited to utility players who spend time at both infield and outfield positions and want one high-quality glove capable of handling multiple roles.
The PROSKB17CR is constructed from Rawlings' premium full-grain kip leather. Kip leather is prized for its smooth feel, strength and ability to form a personalised pocket as the glove breaks in. It provides the structure expected from a professional-level glove while developing a feel unique to the player over time.
A Pro H Web creates a strong, open web design with plenty of pocket depth. Combined with the 12.25 inch pattern, it provides the reach needed in the outfield while retaining the control required when fielding ground balls and making plays around the infield.
Inside the glove, a Performance Sheepskin Palm Lining provides a soft and comfortable feel against the hand. Rawlings also uses 100% wool padding to provide protection while helping the glove maintain its shape and structure through regular use.
Pro-grade leather laces complete the professional construction, providing the strength and durability needed to keep the pocket and web performing season after season.
Like other gloves in the Pro Preferred range, the Kris Bryant model requires a proper break-in. Rawlings rates the glove at 70% player break-in, allowing the player to shape the pocket and closing characteristics to suit their individual preference.
For serious players who regularly move between positions, the Rawlings Pro Preferred Kris Bryant 12.25" offers the versatility of a utility glove with the leather, construction and feel expected from one of Rawlings' premium glove ranges.

Who Should Use the Kris Bryant 12.25" Utility Glove?
The PROSKB17CR is particularly well suited to utility players who regularly move between the infield and outfield and don't want to change gloves every time they change position.
At 12.25 inches, it provides more reach and pocket depth than a traditional 11.5 or 11.75 inch infield glove, making it much more practical when moving into the outfield.
At the same time, it remains smaller and more controllable than a traditional 12.75 inch outfield glove, allowing an experienced player to use it effectively when moving back into the infield.
This versatility makes the Kris Bryant pattern a great choice for players who cover third base and the outfield, as well as genuine utility players who may be asked to play several positions throughout a season.
The Pro Preferred construction is aimed at serious players who appreciate a high-quality glove and are prepared to spend time breaking it in properly. The firmer starting structure allows the player to develop the pocket and shape of the glove around their own hand and playing style.
